Mirthe Robben (Visual Artist)
Limburg- Brussels-based creative working at the intersection of graphic design, motion design, and conceptual art.
I’m driven by ideas — whether visual, spatial, or critic— and I use design as a tool to communicate, provoke, and explore. My work blends aesthetic precision with conceptual depth, often responding to cultural shifts and the digital landscape around us.

My work begins with intuition rather than observation. It isn't always inspired by something visible; often, it emerges from a feeling that resists language.

Art has become my way of making the invisible visible—a space where I can express aspects of myself that I don't yet fully understand. Every piece is both a reflection and a discovery. There are periods of stillness, when nothing is made. There are others when ideas flow endlessly. I have learned that both deserve space. Creativity cannot be forced; it asks for patience, honesty, and trust.

I create, therefore I am.
I have created, therefore a part of me will always remain.

So I follow what feels right.
And for now, that's enough, enjoy.

Brussels, 2025

I've scrolled so far,
I don't even know where to,
what I saw,
or how long it's been
since I began.

I'm lost—
wasted,
like toilet paper.

This installation visualizes the impact of digital data and its link to attention loss. Through satire, it reflect on my complicity in the problem of data overload and invite viewers to acknowledge their role.
By taking the project out of digital space, it ensure it doesn’t get lost in the noise it critiques, offering a moment to pause, reflect and reconnect
